Wednesday June 30th from 7-8:30 p.m. the young women and young men will be meeting together to compete in a crazy game show activity!! This will be one crazy fun activity that you aren't going to want to miss!! So come and bring your friends, maybe a camera, and be ready for some awesome competition!!
This month Bishop's Youth Night will be held at the Bishop's house. It will be a pool party and BBQ so please bring your suits, towels, and appetite! This will be held this Friday night (June 25th) from 7-9 p.m. Not sure where Bishop lives? Feel free to contact me!
After all the preparation and anticipation it is finally time to go to camp!! All campers need to be at the Stake Center tomorrow morning (June 22nd) and 9:00 a.m. to catch the bus going to camp! If you are a YCL you should already be up at camp! The buses will arrive back at the Stake Center on Friday June 25th around 11:30 a.m. and parents can pick up their girls then. I hope everyone enjoys their camp experiences to the fullest!! I will see you all up there on Thursday night!
This Saturday June 19th we will be finishing off our girl's camp requirements by going on a hike. We will be meeting at the home of Sister Bartmess on Saturday morning at 7:45 a.m. We want to leave for the hike no later than 8:00 so we can attempt to beat the heat. We will hike for about 4 miles through the hills surrounding the Bartmess home. Afterwards for all those who would like to Sister K has offered her home for swimming and lunch. This Wednesday we will be meeting at Brother Clark's house again to finish up learning about fires. This time we will be cooking our dinner over the fire, so please remember to bring the items you signed up for. We will be meeting from 7-8:30. Sister Lauderman will also be checking all those who are attending girl's camp for lice that night, so make sure you are there!!
With girl's camp fast approaching it is time for us to finish learning all of our camp skills. Since we no longer have a camp crafter, Brother Clark has offered to finish teaching all of us the skills we need to know before attending camp. This Wednesday night we will be meeting at Brother Clark's home at 7:00. He will be teaching us all about fires: how to build them, extinguish them, fire safety, etc. He has requested that everyone come wearing long pants, tennis shoes, and hair in ponytails. Come and learn about fires because next week you will be put to the test when you will be asked to make a meal over the fire!!
